LAStheatre is an award-winning theatre company based in Thanet. We produce exceptional arts projects and theatre productions for and with communities in East Kent and across the UK.

LAS is a word in the Irish language. It means to turn on or set alight. In all our work, we aim to kindle important conversations and ignite imaginations.

A new musical production about a floating Princess, a Queen who worries about keeping her little girl's feet on the ground, and a friendship that changes everything.

A family show for audiences aged 3 and up.

A musical adaptation of the award-winning children's book with beautiful puppets, catchy tunes and an uplifting tale of self-acceptance.

In partnership with ICON and the Royal Opera House
From Summer 2023 to Spring 2024, LAStheatre will collaborate with 3 primary schools, on the Isle of Sheepey, in our home county of Kent. 

Together we will develop CPD to inspire creative approaches to teaching and learning across the curriculum. Part of this will be exploring how theatre making skills can support playful learning from Early Years through to Key Stage 2.
