LAStheatre is an award-winning theatre company rooted in East Kent and touring across the UK and Ireland. We create joyful theatre and cultural experiences for children, families and communities - bringing people together through creativity and play.

LAS is an Irish word meaning to set alight. Our name reflects our belief in the power of stories to spark conversation, kindle connection and ignite imaginations. It also connects us to our home community of Thanet - an island whose name derives from the Gaelic word for fire!

Happy in his rockpool, Caspian loves cleaning and collecting stories from passing squid and curious sea snails. But when humans come and build a town near his home, everything changes!
